★Bailey Boy★

It has been a really difficult week for me! You never think that saying good-bye to a pet could be so hard. Bailey has been a great dog for so many years! Yeah he learned how to climb the fence so he could go run around town with his girlfriends but we still loved him. hes been to doggy jail but he never meant any harm. The best thing about Bailey is that you knew he loved you! when i would be upset he would sit with me just listen to me talk! the last two months before i left for college he would stay up late with me and watch the Olympics! then he would sleep at the foot of my bed and work his way up to having his own pillow so in the morning he was snuggling with me! he was my dads little boy that would lay on his back on dads arm so and watch tv with him, force his way to a spot at the kitchen table! he was a spoiled brat that craved undying attention. and he got it! He will truly be missed and no dog can take his place! he has a final resting place in our hearts and backyard! Poor Nikki misses her best friend!

Cute Pet Poem!

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Halloween

The Unfinished Project!

So we finally found an apartment and are in the process of getting all moved in and organized! We signed our lease on October 9th! it was great because our good friends Whitney and David Barker signed theirs the same day!! So we went to Olive Garden for a Celebration Dinner! Our apartment is a one bed one bath in a really old building were you have to have a key to get in the building and one for your apartment! we do have a few weirdies around the place but its not too bad! i feel safe! its a basement apartment which makes Chris happy because we can play his guitar and stomp on his pedals and no one will get angry!

HOGLE ZOO

As a last moment of fun before school started again Chris and I went to the Hogle Zoo with my coworker Jane and her husband Justin! it was a lot of fun but in my opinion not worth $9 a person. Like when i went to La Calli the zoo also had peacocks just walking around where ever they pleased it was pretty cool.

 

we got to see all kinds of animals! they had a baby elephant named Zuri and funny thing about her is that she has her own blog that you can follow her on!

 Besides Elephants and Peacocks we saws some cool looking birds, tons of different types of monkeys, one that even had some sweet sideburns,giraffes that came with in like 2-3 feet of us, giant turtle, Tigers, Gators, a few ostriches, a big gorilla and got to see how big our hands are compared to his, some camels, and orangutan, some different wild cats that look like normal house cats they were really cute!

without standing straight up the baby giraffe is 12ft! they are also born 6ft tall!

 

After the Zoo we went over to Jane's apartment and had dinner with them. It was nice to do something out of the ordinary! But Now that we are back in school its waking up at 6:30am to get ready and out the door by 7:10 so we can get to class! then we both work everyday so not much time to find a new place but we are still looking! thats is the update of our lives so far!

Lagoon

This Weekend we went to Lagoon, Greg, Chris's friend and band mate gave us free tickets! Lagoon is not as fun as six flags or Kings Island (according to Chris) but it was fun! The best Ride they had was "Wicked!"

While we were standing in line for the ride spider we were just talking about the best way to escape if something were to go wrong and i look over at the guy standing in front of us and checked out his tattoo on his arm it was the Salt lake temple with a giant robot about to step on it! Though i don't agree with the hate he obviously feel about the church i thought the temple looked really cool!

Over all i had a great weekend! Went to Lagoon got to see my brother and hang out with him and Daphne Sopoco for a while! 

Birthday!

So Monday was my 20th Birthday and it was fantastic!! I woke up early so i could get ready for work! and i walked out of the bedroom to find and crafty Happy Birthday sign made by my sweet Husband!!

I got to work at 9am!! So that i could be off work early! i get to work and My boss had gotten me a Carrot cake for my birthday it was great! After i got off work i went to the gym with two of the girls i work with! (jane and Summer) Jane has become our personal trainer because she has been going to the gym for a long time now! So this week i have been so sore!!  After the gym i went home and showered so that i could get ready for Dinner! We went to Dinner at Bucca Di Beppos! I was Chris, Amanda, Greg and Summer that went with us! we had a lot of fun!! They had a Happy Birthday Sign on our table so that they would know! and when the Waiter brought me cake he told us that restaurants are no longer legally allowed to sing to you! how lame is that! He said that who ever has the copy right of the song is cracking down and suing restaurants for singing it! 

Besides being extremely sore all week I have gone shopping and have found some really cute winter jackets that i want! Now i just have to Buy them!! 

Besides birthday news Chris and I have been trying to find a new place to live that is closer to downtown salt lake and near the University of Utah! we have to give our 60 day (a bit crazy dont you think) at the end of this month so that we can move out by the end of October! we are going to downsize so that we can find a cheaper place so that we can move into a house in a year!! so we are just saving as much money as we can so that we can have a good down payment!

Eventful!

This weekend has been great!! On Friday we go to go down to Provo to visit Staycee and Spencer Hutching because Staycee had a singing recital! She did a fantastic job! After the recital we went to dinner at a small Boston style pizzeria! So GOOD!!  While at dinner Chris told Staycee he could record a CD of her singing and made plans for them to come up to salt lake a little early to do it. Saturday night Chris and i got to chance to watch Porter their baby while they went to a concert! Though he is a little angel it really shows me that i don't want children right now and that i just want to finish school and then think about the babies!! haha

Since the wedding Chris and I have been doing great! We are currently looking for a new apartment to down size to! Because we really don't need a 2 bedroom! we also want to live closer to downtown salt lake! Our plans are to save money for the next year and buy a home around this time next year!

We have been married for Two Months now and have loved every minute of it!
